2004, Reduction Of Seclusion And Restraint: Creating Culture Change And Transformation, June 15-16, 2004
The Seclusion and Restraint Conference will be held on June 15 and 16 in Richmond.
The seminar will include sessions on the following:

- Consumer View: Restraint is not Therapeutic
- Trauma Informed Care: The Science of Trauma
- Changing the Culture of the Milieu
- Debriefing for Patients and Staff: Tools and Techniques
- Promoting Optimal Behavior with Cognitive and Behavioral Techniques
- Negotiation as an Alternative to Coercion
- Working with Violent Offenders
- Leadership: the Mandatory Component in Culture Change and Transformation
Sessions will be taped and available for purchase one month from the event.
